My Profile

About Me

I am a Bulgarian-American artist that fell in love with art at the age of 14. I received my BA in Linguistics with a Minor in Russian from the University of Mississippi in 2009 and then spent 10 years teaching English in South Korea.

During that time, my love for art turned into a burning passion. So, after 10 years of teaching, I returned to the US to get a second degree, this time in art like I had always dreamt of. In 2024, I graduated the University of South Alabama with a BFA in Animation, a secondary in Painting and a minor in Art History.

In my time at the University of South Alabama I worked not only on animation films but in game design as well and was able to create my very first video game, Biju, meaning jewel in my native language.

I also had the change to work for the University of South Alabama Archaeology Museum as an intern and learn 3D imaging and Photogrammetry. I worked on a travelling trunk project that allowed me to 3D scan Mrs. Perryman's collection, create 3D prints, paint them, and then create virtual ready versions. I see this project as a huge stepping stone for me in my education and career.

In the fall of 2024, I will be attending the University of South Alabama for the Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Technologies and Practice.
